How can I book a ride by Rikolonia?
Can I book Rikolonia trips all year round?
The Rikolonia vehicles operate all year round. In particular, our city tour offers and vouchers are always available.
Do Rikolonia Rickshaws roll outside of Cologne?
Can I request a fleet of rickshaws?
Fleets, i.e. more than 2 and up to 24 vehicles, can be ordered for birthdays, weddings or events. The remuneration for these trips is to be requested when ordering and to be determined before the start of the trip.
Are Rikolonia riders able to speak different languages?
Can older people and people in need of help, such as wheelchair users, also come along?
In any case, older people or people in need of help, such as wheelchair users, can also ride along. The severity of the disability and the question of whether the person is able to sit on the vehicle seat and enjoy the journey must be decided on a case-by-case basis. Our friendly Rikolonia drivers are happy to provide assistance when boarding the rickshaw and ensure that a wheelchair or walking aid is safely accommodated during the tour.
Can I smoke in a Rikolonia rickshaw while driving?
Are the Rikolonia prices for 1 or 2 people?
In general, the prices are per person. When booking, you simply indicate whether the rickshaw is filled with one or two people. You only pay for the actual number of people and not the number of vehicles. It is also possible to take a child under the age of 14 with you free of charge when accompanied by two adults.
Is there a weight limit?
The total weight of the people on a rickshaw should not exceed more than 200 kg. If the weight is far higher, the use of two vehicles is required.
Are Rikolonia trips covered by liability insurance?
What if the Rikolonia driver is late?
Due to unforeseeable factors such as a possible technical defect, we apologize for a possible delay on the part of the driver of a maximum of 5 minutes.
If this period is exceeded, they have the right not to start the journey and to have the fare reimbursed. If the journey is started anyway, the booked journey time will of course remain unaffected despite the delay.
What if I'm late?
If the driver waits more than 5 minutes, either the longer delay will be deducted from the booked travel time or the fee will be increased. If there are signs of a delay, we ask that you call in good time and possibly rebook the journey.
What if I missed the appointment?
If a booking is not taken without a timely cancellation, the fare must be paid in full. Goodwill arrangements are only possible in exceptional cases.
What about rain?
Even if it rains, you stay dry. Thanks to the practical folding roof of the Rikolonia rickshaws, our guests are protected from the rain. Nevertheless, we offer you the opportunity to book a trip, e.g. B. in the case of a bad weather forecast up to 48 hours before the booked date to cancel free of charge.
Is there an option to cancel in case of bad weather like heavy rain or snow?
You are welccome to cancel your order at latest 48 hour befor in case of a lousy weather forecast.
A cancellation at the same Day is just in isolated cases possible.
Where can I find and board a Rikolonia rickshaw?
In general, we are no longer easy to find in the city. We mainly offer pre-booked rides. However, we can be reached by phone at any time and can make trips, such as a taxi ride, possible. Just call 0221 2043 2099 and we'll see what's up.
How can I buy a Rikolonia voucher?
You are welcome to order vouchers by our shop and pay them by one provided form of payment (direct tranfer, PayPal etc.) Getting a voucher before a payment is not possible. We will send your voucher by mail or post after your payment.
How much are the shipping cost?
Cost for shipping und fee are 3,- Euro inkl. VAT. Digital shipping and printing out of our voucher is possible as well and free.
Your voucher will be sent directly after you will have placed your order to your deliver address.
We don’t take any responsibility for a delayed shipping of your ticket or your voucher and any following disadvantages. Your ticket or voucher Shipping of ticket or voucher will be shipped at your own risk.
How does print@home work?
Print@home means printung out your ticket or voucher by your own personal computer. Therefore your ticket will send to you by mail for printing it at home.
Please bring your ticket/voucher to your appointment.
How do I redeem a Rikolonia voucher?
Please contact us by phone or email to redeem your voucher. An appointment must be made to redeem the voucher and the voucher must be presented at the start of the journey. If the booked appointment cannot be kept, it must be canceled at least 48 hours in advance. If you do not show up without cancellation, the voucher is considered redeemed and loses its validity.
